Commission

Booking a commission can be daunting as you want to make sure you chose the right picture and the right artist to capture what's special to you. I want to make your experience as friendly and as comfortable as possible so you go away knowing you've made the right choice.

Once you have decided on what you would like commissioned you can contact me and discuss your vision for the how the final piece should be presented. I shall also help you choose what material you would like me to paint/draw on, the size of your commissioned piece, and what medium (oil paint, water colour, etc) you would like me to use. Once this has been decided then I'll notify you of the pricing as it shall vary depending on the size and medium of the artwork. I will require 25% deposit beforehand to cover costs of materials and the time invested.

If you are happy with the plan then I shall draw the layout of your piece of work and contact you to make sure you are happy with how it looks. I shall keep you updated throughout the process so if you would like any changes then they can be made. It currently takes between 4-8 weeks to complete a piece of work but if you are purchasing as a gift for someone and you need it earlier then please let me know and, if possible, we can come up with an arrangement.

For the painting to be as detailed and as accurate as possible I shall need a very good photo of what you would like commissioned. I do ask that there are no filters added to the photo as that can obscure the details and original colours of the picture.
