Lucinda

Lucinda has always found happiness and peace in producing art work, she sheepishly thinks it's her one real talent in life.

Throughout her schooling she has kept art as the foundation, whilst occasionally branching out into textiles, interior design and getting her degree in conservation and restoration of exquisite art work at Lincoln University.

As part of this, Lucinda spent 5 weeks working in Florence Italy working in heritage sites and buildings making sure the beautiful art would be there to admire for many generations yet.

Since university, Lucinda has always pursued artwork as something of a hobby, whilst sometimes getting commissioned to produce pieces here and there whilst working full time as a member of the emergency services. She has now decided to turn it into a full time career to see if the mantra of "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life" is true. It is her ardent desire that this business will flourish and she can share her work with as many people as possible.

Lucinda is a rural girl, growing up, going to school and University in Lincolnshire. In her own time Lucinda is an adored wife, a mother to two wonderful sons, and the owner of a particularly hairy Husky/Shepherd called Arty. Other than her artwork she enjoys long walks and hikes as a family, she used to own and ride horses, playing with her toddler and spoiling her infant son.

What People Say

We have several of Lucy's paintings. She has an incredible talent to accurately reproduce any picture you ask her to do. I am incredibly impressed how versatile Lucy can be whether using acrylics or watercolours and she enjoys demonstrating her different techniques depending on personal choice. Delightful and professional art!

We commissioned Lucy to create a painting that was to depict memories created while snorkeling on a tropical holiday. I described the images and found several pictures online that depicted individual aspects of the painting that I wanted. Lucy seamlessly combined those photos as well as my detailed description and created an amazing painting that was exactly what I had hoped for. It now hangs in pride of place in our home! Thank you Lucy.

Lucy did a portrait of my daughters cat for a leaving present. I gave her full artistic licence to produce the best painting she could and she didn't disappoint. Amazing work, the attention to detail shines through in every brushstroke. We are over the moon and would definitely go back for more work. We highly recommended lucy for any work you need.
